Hello loves, today I’m talking about the first step to creating your ideal life.

All of my coaching is about empowering you to live life on your own terms. Not mine. Not someone else’s. Yours. Every step of the way is about finding clarity, allowing and creating intention, and taking action.

This episode is about that first bit. Finding clarity. Clarity is the foundation that allows you to create the direction you want to go in.

Clarity is what will help you to manifest your ideal life. Clarity is the first step to creating your ideal life.

I love to talk about coaching as helping you to define your roadmap of life. Let’s think about satnav. I can programme a postcode into my car’s in-built satnav and it will come up with a route. I can pop it into Google, and that will come up with another. Typically one route will be better than the other, however, it’s still for me to determine which is the route I want to take, and it’s still up to me to use the knowledge I have built up over time to say that possibly both routes are not the right one for me. I might not want agree with the default route conditions, ie the motorway. I can also choose to take a detour, a Starbucks, or two, along the way.

A few years ago I decided that I was ready to settle down and meet my ideal guy. The postcode, so to speak. I then added the route conditions, the characteristics I wanted him to have. As a note, I didn’t list the qualities I did not want. I chose to focus on the positive. Then whilst dating guys, I would decide to take a few detours, meaning not settling for second-best by ditching the guys who were not right for me, until I met James.

So, to take the first step to create your ideal life, think about where you want to live. Who are the people in your life. Where do you want to go on holiday. How do you want to spend your time. How does your health look. Fill in the honest details of your own ideal life. 

Everyone has a different idea of what life should look like, and you are no different. Put as much into this as you want for you to have, to be, and do. The more specific you are the better. This also isn’t about writing down, or thinking about, only what is achievable. 

Dream and dream big. In the early days of my illness I was being told I’d never run again, but I still dared to dream I’d finish the New York marathon. And I did. Now I dream I’m going to finish it faster!

No limits to living life on your terms!
